India, April 1 -- Copper futures rose by Rs 2.40 to Rs 1,182.20 per kg on Wednesday, supported by improved demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for May delivery gained 0.2% in a business turnover of 492 lots.
Market analysts attributed the uptick to increased buying interest and fresh positions taken by participants, reflecting positive sentiment in the commodity.
