India, March 11 -- Copper futures rose on Wednesday, supported by improved demand in the physical market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange of India, copper contracts for April delivery increased by Rs 1.45, or 0.12%, to Rs 1,227.85 per kilogram, with a business turnover of 293 lots.
Market analysts said the uptick in prices was largely driven by fresh positions created by traders amid expectations of sustained spot demand.
