India, June 17 -- Copper futures traded higher on Wednesday, supported by firm demand in the physical market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for June delivery gained Rs 1.70, or 0.13%, to Rs 1,339.30 per kilogram, with a business turnover of 836 lots.
Market analysts said the rise in copper prices was driven by fresh positions built by traders amid improving spot demand.
