India, May 20 -- Copper futures traded lower on Wednesday as subdued demand in the domestic spot market weighed on sentiment.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for June delivery declined by Rs 2.75, or 0.2 percent, to Rs 1,351.25 per kg in a turnover of 1,113 lots.

Market participants said muted buying activity from consuming industries put pressure on copper prices in futures trading.
