India, Aug. 31 -- Copper futures prices fell Rs 3.10 to Rs 1,388.25 per kg on Monday, pressured by subdued demand in the domestic spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the copper contract for September delivery declined 0.22% to Rs 1,388.25 per kg, with an open interest of 1,448 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline to weak buying interest from domestic consuming industries, which weighed on copper prices in the futures market.
