India, Sept. 25 -- Copper futures dropped Rs 5.75 to Rs 1,417.30 per kg on Friday, weighed down by subdued demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for October delivery declined 0.4%, or Rs 5.75, to Rs 1,417.30 per kg, with a business turnover of 1,843 lots.
Traders said soft demand from domestic consuming industries put pressure on copper prices during the session.
