India, Oct. 22 -- Copper futures prices fell by Rs 18.75, or 1.35%, to Rs 1,371.65 per kilogram on Thursday, weighed down by subdued demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper contracts for October delivery declined to Rs 1,371.65 per kg, with a trading volume of 3,114 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to weak demand from domestic consuming industries, which continued to exert pressure on copper prices in the futures market.
