India, May 27 -- The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has approved the formation of a joint venture between Mercuria Energy Netherlands B.V. and Tata International Singapore (Pte) Ltd.

The proposed transaction involves Mercuria Energy Group, through its subsidiary Mercuria Energy Netherlands B.V., partnering with Tata International Singapore to establish a new joint venture entity in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), UAE. The deal also includes related restructuring and transfer arrangements prior to the completion of the transaction.
