India, Aug. 17 -- Balu Forge Industries Ltd (BFIL) has announced the successful commercialisation of its 155mm Extended Range Full Bore (ERFB) Base Bleed (BB) and Boat Tail (BT) ammunition variants, along with the receipt of its first purchase order from an Indian ammunition company.
The initial order covers a pilot supply of 10,000 units, following which regular monthly supplies will begin in mutually agreed quantities. The development marks a significant milestone for BFIL as it expands its presence in the defence manufacturing sector and strengthens its capabilities in advanced artillery ammunition.
