India, Aug. 12 -- AVG Logistics Ltd has secured a long-term contract from a leading cement manufacturer to deploy 30 heavy-duty electric trucks for inbound and outbound logistics operations across key industrial corridors in the Northeast.
The fleet will handle loads of around 38–41 MT per trip and will be supported by dedicated EV charging infrastructure to be established, operated and maintained by AVG Logistics.
The contract has an initial tenure of five years, with an option to extend it by another three years. The company expects the engagement to support recurring revenue, improve fleet utilisation and strengthen operating profitability.
