India, Oct. 1 -- Aurobindo Pharma's US-based subsidiary Acrotech Biopharma has expanded into dermatology with the launch of Adquey ointment in the American market.
Adquey is a non-steroidal topical therapy used to treat mild-to-moderate atopic dermatitis in adults and children aged two years and older. The product was developed by Otsuka Pharmaceutical and subsequently licensed to Acrotech for commercialisation in the US.
As part of the launch, Acrotech has also created a dedicated dermatology business unit to build its presence in the segment and support the commercial rollout of the product.
