India, June 16 -- Aluminium prices declined in futures trade on Tuesday as traders reduced their positions amid subdued demand in the physical market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for June delivery fell Rs 4.25, or 1.19%, to Rs 352.55 per kg, with a business turnover of 993 lots.

Market analysts attributed the decline to position trimming by participants, driven by easing demand from consuming industries and a weak trend in spot market activity.
