India, June 18 -- Aluminium futures traded lower on Thursday as participants reduced their positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for June delivery declined by Rs 3, or 0.84 per cent, to Rs 355.65 per kg, with a turnover of 496 lots.
Market analysts said easing demand from key consuming industries and a weak trend in the physical market prompted traders to trim their positions, putting pressure on aluminium prices.
