India, Sept. 23 -- Aluminium futures edged lower by 80 paise to Rs 346.25 per kg on Wednesday, as traders reduced their positions amid weak trends in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for October delivery declined 80 paise, or 0.23%, to Rs 346.25 per kg, with 88 lots traded.
Analysts said lower demand from consuming industries and reduced market positions kept aluminium prices under pressure.
