India, July 14 -- Aluminium futures climbed 1.37% on Tuesday as traders built fresh positions amid positive sentiment in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the July contract gained Rs 4.65 to Rs 344.45 per kg, with a business turnover of 495 lots.

According to analysts, fresh buying by traders, supported by demand from consuming industries, drove the rise in aluminium futures.
