India, Aug. 10 -- Aluminium prices rose Rs 2.60, or 0.74%, to Rs 353.15 per kg in futures trade on Monday, supported by fresh positions taken by speculators amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for August delivery advanced to Rs 353.15 per kg, with a business turnover of 286 lots.
Analysts attributed the gains to fresh buying by traders and steady demand from consuming industries, which supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
