India, Aug. 24 -- Aluminium prices edged higher by 15 paise, or 0.04%, to Rs 347.30 per kg in futures trading on Monday, supported by fresh position-building by speculators and a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for September delivery rose 15 paise to Rs 347.30 per kg, with a business turnover of 612 lots.
Analysts said fresh buying by traders, along with demand from consuming industries, supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
