India, Sept. 15 -- Aluminium futures prices edged up by 40 paise to Rs 348.45 per kg on Tuesday, supported by fresh position-building by speculators amid positive cues from the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for September delivery rose 0.11% to Rs 348.45 per kg, with a business turnover of 292 lots.
Analysts said fresh buying by traders and demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
