India, Aug. 13 -- Aluminium futures prices declined Rs 2.95 to Rs 349.95 per kg on Thursday, weighed down by weak demand and negative cues from the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for September delivery fell 0.84% to Rs 349.95 per kg, with a business turnover of 320 lots.

Analysts attributed the decline to participants trimming their positions amid easing demand from consuming industries, which kept aluminium prices under pressure.
