India, July 20 -- Aluminium futures slipped 0.04% to Rs 342.80 per kg on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as traders reduced their positions amid subdued demand in the spot market.

The July contract declined by 15 paise to Rs 342.80 per kg in 227 lots. According to market analysts, easing demand from consuming industries and profit-booking by participants weighed on aluminium prices.
