India, Oct. 30 -- Aluminium prices rose marginally by 55 paise, or 0.17%, to Rs. 330 per kg in futures trade on Friday, supported by fresh position-building by speculators and a positive trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for October delivery advanced 55 paise to Rs. 330 per kg, with a business turnover of 334 lots.

Analysts attributed the gains to fresh buying interest and demand from consuming industries.
