India, May 8 -- Aluminium futures traded marginally higher on Friday as traders created fresh positions amid positive sentiment in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for June delivery rose by 95 paise, or 0.26%, to Rs 368.40 per kg in a business turnover of 34 lots.

Analysts said fresh buying by market participants, supported by demand from consuming industries, helped aluminium prices move higher in futures trade.
