India, July 28 -- Aluminium futures slipped by Rs. 2.20 to Rs. 339.70 per kg on Tuesday as traders reduced their positions amid a weak trend in the spot market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), July delivery contracts declined 0.64% to Rs. 339.70 per kg, with a trading volume of 145 lots.

According to analysts, easing demand from consuming industries prompted market participants to trim their positions, weighing on aluminium futures prices.
