India, March 24 -- Aluminium prices slipped by Rs 2.45 to Rs 328.65 per kg in futures trade on Tuesday, as traders reduced positions amid a subdued trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), aluminium contracts for April delivery fell 0.74 per cent, or Rs 2.45, to Rs 328.65 per kg across 80 lots.
Analysts attributed the decline to easing demand from key consuming industries, which prompted participants to scale back their positions.
