India, Aug. 18 -- Aluminium futures prices slipped Rs 2.35 to Rs 348.60 per kg on Tuesday, pressured by reduced positions from market participants amid a weak trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for August delivery declined Rs 2.35, or 0.67 per cent, to Rs 348.60 per kg, with a business turnover of 3,901 lots.
Analysts said easing demand from consuming industries prompted participants to cut their positions, keeping aluminium futures prices under pressure.
