India, May 29 -- Aluminium futures traded lower on Friday as market participants reduced their positions amid subdued demand in the physical market.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the June delivery contract fell by Rs 3.30, or 0.85%, to Rs 384.20 per kg, with a turnover of 488 lots.

Traders attributed the decline to softer demand from key consuming industries, which weighed on sentiment and prompted participants to trim their positions in the futures market.
