India, Aug. 14 -- Siemens has introduced self-verifying, long-running EDA AI agents for semiconductor and PCB design, as announced at DAC 2026. The company's approach combines its EDA expertise and software with NVIDIA AI infrastructure.
The core principle is physics-based EDA engine verification, where every agent decision is checked against deterministic EDA engines at each step, rather than at the end of a workflow. This continuous validation is intended to ensure signoff-quality results and build trust in autonomous operations.
