Razorpay built one AI for payments, fraud and checkout
India, Aug. 20 -- Razorpay has announced its collaboration with NVIDIA and AWS to create Vulcan, a transformer-based AI foundation model, and unsurprisingly, it has attracted the attention of the Indian fintech industry. Vulcan has been trained on almost three trillion data points across four billion payments and is intended to work as a single intelligence layer, not a collection of different machine-learning models with different jobs.
However, one key technical metric is not included with the headline figures of "8-10% higher payment success rates" and "8x more international card fraud detected and stopped": the baseline used to measure them.
