India, Oct. 7 -- Senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Priyanka Pankajam, a 2015-batch officer, has assumed charge as Director of e-Governance and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tamil Nadu e-Governance Agency (TNeGA).

Pankajam was previously serving as Director of Town Panchayats. In her new role, she will oversee the state's e-governance initiatives, including citizen-centric digital services and technology-led initiatives across government departments.

The appointment is part of an administrative reshuffle by the Tamil Nadu government.
