India, Sept. 16 -- Oracle layoffs have reportedly reached India, with the latest restructuring affecting employees across cloud, engineering, security, sales and other technology functions.

Reports indicate that employees at different levels have been affected, from freshers to experienced managers. However, Oracle has not issued an official statement confirming the number of jobs cut in India, the teams involved or the locations affected.

The latest layoffs come as Oracle continues investing heavily in cloud infrastructure, high-performance computing and generative AI. At the same time, the company is reducing costs and reorganising parts of its global workforce.
