India, Aug. 13 -- Nvidia is no longer satisfied with dominating the processors, networking, and software used to build artificial intelligence infrastructure. It now wants to help create the capital market that finances it.

On August 10, Nvidia announced partnerships with Apollo Global Management (APO), BlackRock (BLK), Blackstone (BX), Brookfield Asset Management (BN), Goldman Sachs (GS), and KKR (KKR) to establish financing platforms capable of mobilizing more than $500 billion for Nvidia-based AI infrastructure.

The capital would support frontier AI laboratories, neocloud providers, enterprises, and governments that need substantially more computing capacity than they can finance internally.
