India, Sept. 6 -- This is the season of data centres. Computing is the new currency powering the AI age, and India's data centre market is moving into a different order of scale.

In the latest development, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) subsidiary HyperVault said on September 5 that it has secured 264 acres in Hyderabad to develop an artificial intelligence (AI) data centre campus with a capacity of up to 1 GW at full build-out. HyperVault and its partners expect to invest up to Rs 70,000 crore to build and manage the infrastructure.
