India, April 22 -- Henna Virkkunen, Executive VP, Tech Sovereignty, Security and Democracy, EU, chaired an implementation dialogue on the Chips Act that brought together a number of industry leaders and high-level stakeholders from across the semiconductor value chain to discuss the implementation of the Chips Act.

Potential improvements, additions and simplification measures that may be considered were also discussed during the meeting.

The meeting comes at a pivotal moment, as the European Commission prepares to adopt a revised Chips Act ('Chips Act 2.0') this spring as part of a broader Technological Sovereignty package.
