India, May 7 -- IBM and Yotta Data Services have announced plans to build an agentic AI platform with sovereign capabilities for enterprises and government organisations in India. The platform is expected to combine IBM's watsonx Orchestrate with Yotta's Shakti Cloud infrastructure.

It points to how Indian enterprises are beginning to think differently about AI deployment, especially when it comes to sovereignty, local hosting, governance, and control.
