India, Oct. 21 -- Google Cloud has introduced Gemini for government services, an artificial intelligence (AI) solution designed to help federal, state, and local government agencies automate administrative workflows while maintaining security, compliance, and control over sensitive data.

Announced by Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian on October 20, the solution is available in preview and combines specialised AI skills, secure connections to existing enterprise systems, partner-built agents, and centralised governance. It aims to reduce the administrative burden on civil servants, allowing them to spend less time on manual document processing and more time on public service delivery.
