India, Oct. 31 -- Cognizant is bringing together more than 25,000 professionals in a dedicated OpenAI delivery organisation, aiming to help enterprises put models such as ChatGPT and Codex to work inside their business systems.

The OpenAI Frontier Capability Group will initially focus on software engineering, application modernisation, and agentic customer operations. Its mandate covers building OpenAI-powered systems and supporting their operation for clients.

The announcement describes professionals aligned to the practice. It does not represent a commitment to hire 25,000 additional employees.
