India, July 28 -- Artificial intelligence is creating an uncomfortable equation for the IT services industry. The same technology that improves delivery productivity can also reduce the effort, people, and revenue traditionally attached to managed-services contracts.

Coforge acknowledges that pressure. But the company says focusing only on AI-led deflation misses the other half of the story. AI is also creating new demand around legacy modernisation, data architecture, cloud transformation, security, governance, and enterprise-wide operationalisation.
