India, Oct. 12 -- Anthropic has launched Claude Haiku 5.5, its new small model designed for high-volume, cost-sensitive enterprise AI workloads, with API prices cut by 90% for prompts up to 100,000 tokens.

Haiku 5.5 is the third member of the Claude 5.5 model family after Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5, and is designed specifically for high-volume, latency-sensitive enterprise workloads. Anthropic says the model brings a significant boost in reasoning and coding capabilities, while the lower price is aimed at real-time AI agents and automated workflows.

The big news for Claude Haiku 5.5 price is the new pricing model: a 90% base reduction for shorter prompts, along with a 1 million-token context window.
