Beyond Mining: Jharkhand Eyes Digital Economy
India, July 9 -- Jharkhand has outlined a roadmap to diversify its economy beyond mining by accelerating investments in digital infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and technology-led industries. Speaking at the first day of the two-day National Stakeholders Consultation 2026 (NSC 2026) in New Delhi, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said the state is positioning technology, education, and digital governance as key drivers of future economic growth.
