AI is transforming medical imaging, but caution must keep pace

AI is beginning to replicate certain aspects of clinical intuition by identifying patterns across vast volumes of imaging, clinical, and outcomes data. However, the greater opportunity is not to replace experienced physicians, but to systematically capture and scale the insights (including judgment, empathy, context and accountability) they have accumulated over decades.
