Pakistan, July 6 -- President Asif Ali Zardari has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on a two-day official visit, where he was received with a guard of honour at the Issyk-Kul International Airport. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov personally welcomed him upon arrival, marking a significant diplomatic engagement between the two countries.

The visit is being described as a continuation of high-level contacts between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan. It is the first visit by a Pakistani head of state to the Central Asian country since 1995, when former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto undertook a landmark trip.
