Pakistan, April 22 -- President Asif Ali Zardari on World Earth Day urged the nation to pledge to plant more trees, reduce plastic waste, adopt sustainable practices and educate youth about importance of environmental conservation.

The president, in his message on Earth Day celebrated across the world on April 22nd, said a cleaner and greener Pakistan is not only a necessity "but a duty we owe to our upcoming generations".
