Pakistan, Nov. 1 -- Israeli Democrats leader Yair Golan has warned that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu could use another conflict with Iran to remain in power. His remarks come as Israel faces political uncertainty following inconclusive parliamentary elections.

Golan said the possibility of renewed fighting with Iran was increasing. He described repeated confrontations as evidence of Netanyahu's failure to address the tensions.

He also argued that Netanyahu lacked the public trust, moral legitimacy and basic capacity to manage another military campaign. Golan warned that allowing him to lead a new conflict could put Israel's security at risk.
