Pakistan, May 14 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping called for stronger cooperation between China and the United States during high-level talks with US President Donald Trump in Beijing, saying the two global powers should act as partners rather than rivals.

President Trump is currently on a two-day official visit to China, where he was formally welcomed by Xi at the Great Hall of the People. The two leaders shook hands before holding delegation-level talks with senior officials from both sides.
