Pakistan, Sept. 12 -- Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in New Delhi on Saturday for a Brics summit overshadowed by wars and global tensions. Leaders from India, Russia and Iran are also attending the two-day meeting. Trade, energy security and conflicts will shape discussions among the 11-member bloc.

The Middle East and Ukraine conflicts are expected to dominate the summit. Global trade tensions and energy concerns will also feature prominently during the meeting. The gathering comes as Brics members maintain differing positions on major international conflicts.
