Pakistan, Sept. 24 -- Terrorist organisations in Balochistan, most notably the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and Baloch Liberation Front (BLF), have shifted their tactics to systematically exploit Baloch women for operational and suicide missions.

This strategic shift became highly visible following the April 2022 Karachi University suicide attack by Shari Baloch, and it has since evolved into a calculated method to sustain terrorism. In a significant public disclosure at the Quetta Press Club, two Baloch students, Safia Pir Muhammad and Khadija Abdul Khaliq, formally renounced their ties to the banned BLA. Their confessions provided a rare look into the systematic exploitation of women within regional terrorist networks.
