Pakistan, Aug. 13 -- Police in Peshawar have arrested a woman accused of throwing acid at a young man after he refused her marriage proposal. The incident reportedly occurred in the Chamkani area of Peshawar. Police said the woman was named as a suspect in the First Information Report. Authorities registered the case at Chamkani Police Station following the alleged attack. The investigation is now underway to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.
