Pakistan, May 14 -- Police in Karachi have arrested a woman accused of operating a drug supply network after recovering more than 35 kilograms of high-quality hashish during a raid in the city.

According to police officials, the operation was carried out near Khudadad Colony graveyard, where law enforcement personnel seized the narcotics and detained the suspect identified as Nargis, also known by the alias Malika.

Authorities said the accused was allegedly involved in supplying and selling drugs in upscale areas of Karachi. Investigators believe she was part of a wider narcotics distribution network operating across the city.
