Pakistan, Nov. 4 -- Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, the 18-year-old daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, has legally dropped "Pitt" from her last name.

The change was approved on Monday 2 November at a hearing in a Los Angeles courtroom. Her name is now Vivienne Marcheline Jolie, rather than Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt. She has used "Jolie" as a professional name for more than two years.

Vivienne filed in July to drop her father's surname, citing "personal" reasons, according to Page Six.

Her attorney, Peter Kenneth Levine, appeared remotely and Judge Virginia Keeny read out the names of the approved petitions, including hers. The decree is expected in about a week from room 112 at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
