Pakistan, Sept. 30 -- Turkiye and Saudi Arabia have approved a reciprocal visa exemption agreement for diplomatic and special passport holders. The arrangement will make official travel between the two countries easier.

Saudi Arabia's Cabinet approved the agreement during a meeting in Riyadh on Tuesday. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman chaired the meeting, according to the Saudi Press . Turkiye had approved the agreement in June.

The two countries signed the agreement on May 6 in Ankara. Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan signed the document. The agreement followed a meeting of the Turkiye-Saudi Arabia Coordination Council.
